Yellowbird began in 2012 by a musician and an artist, George and Erin, in Austin, Texas as a passion project. With a shared love for healthy and spicy food, they left behind their day jobs and focused on creating the most delicious spicy condiment possible.
“We created a homegrown habanero hot sauce with one goal—to satisfy our curious craving for flavorful spice. It took years, but eventually we perfected this flavor down to the seeds of each ingredient, obsessing over every batch filled with peppers grown in our own backyard garden.
Since then, we’ve grown to heroically spicy heights. As we flew from farmers markets to supermarkets, we built strong ties with farmers and people who take pride in obsessing over flavorful ingredients as much as we do.

What’s up with the name Yellowbird? Birds are notoriously unbothered by the heat from spicy peppers (we like to think we're the same, when we're bragging), and there's even a specific pepper called the Yellow Bird Pepper that is so small and so hot that it's solely eaten by birds. Unclaimed / Returned Parcels
You will receive an original tracking number from Red Hot Foods, which you should reference to track your parcel’s progress.
If the courier is unable to deliver your order directly to your door due to reasons such as no one being home, access issues, or other circumstances, your parcel may be redirected to a nearby parcel shop for collection. If the parcel is redirected to a parcel shop, any further updates will be sent directly to you by the courier, as they will use the email address you provided at checkout to notify you of where and when to pick up your parcel.
Please track and collect your parcel promptly. If it’s returned to us, we reserve the right to charge:

• Reshipping costs (if applicable)
• A restocking fee of €5 or 10% of the order total (whichever is higher) if canceled or not resent
