Overnight Steel-Cut Oats


Wake up to a delicious and nutritious breakfast with these overnight oats, perfect for busy mornings. This recipe uses steel-cut oats for a heartier texture, finished off with your favorite fruits and a sprinkle of your favorite topping. Bonus: it’s super portable, making it ideal for taking to work or on the go!

Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- 50g steel-cut oats
- 200ml almond milk (or your milk of choice)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional for added texture) 
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- Fresh berries or fruits of your choice (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, sliced apple or whatever you have available)
- 1 tbsp of your favorite Oatmeal Topping

Instructions:
1. In a jar, combine the steel-cut oats, almond milk, and chia seeds (if using). Stir well to mix.
2. Add the maple syrup for a touch of sweetness if desired. Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.
3. In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add more milk if the consistency is too thick.
